The 365(2) Project shall be posted via Picassa...stay tuned for the photos and link.

Attempting the 365 Project again...

There's no other way around it, I have to get it off the ground again. I have to take the chance and do the project that I couldn't do back a year ago. It would have ended on January 13th, 2011, but now I think it's time for the journey to resume. I miss the pictures, and the dedication to my blog, so why not try it again, I mean I have it in me to succeed. June 13th, the 13th day of the month, I should totally go through with it today. I bet I can totally come up with some new pictures now that I have some mobile media platforms. Check back for an attempt at blogging with an iPhone. It doesn't necessarily have to be a fancy blog like last time, but if I can get this right, then I truly have succeeded in being a good blogger. Here's hoping. I will try today with the first picture, so be on the look out for that. It's my first day of work with Southwestern Seminary, and I couldn't be more excited. You will hear all about that day later...look for the redo of the 365 Project to start today!!!!!!

GRACE AND PEACE!

Behind the Music: Running Just to Catch Myself

Okay, here's the story behind one of my absolute favorite songs of all time. In 2004, I had just graduated from high school, and driving back and forth from church, my job at Chick-Fil-A, and to my first year of college at Palm Beach Community College. Music really was my life back in those times. I remember hearing the song "Letters from War" on WAY FM (the local radio station), and then I wanted to get Mark Schultz album that the song was on. So I take it upon myself to buy it. I remember switching through the songs and heard at the start of one of the songs a 2 note chord. It was loud, and I couldn't handle it at first. But then as time went on, I kept hearing it and hearing it, and soon enough, I found myself blasting the song the whole way back and forth everywhere I went. As time went on, I memorized the words, and then i found myself making videos with it, some of which are still up, and then eventually it found its way to my cellphone as a ringtone, it was awesome.

That song basically describes my life entirely, and I couldn't imagine any mixtape or iPod that doesn't have the song on it.
I'm sitting down in church listening to a missionary who lived in Nepal.
I'm learning a great deal about how to post for the blog in other formats than the computer
